- MOSO® Bamboo N-durance stability is achieved by crushing and compressing the bamboo strips.
- Established procedures and production steps to achieve the required MOSO® Bamboo N-durance quality:
– Slat crushing
– More important than for other bamboo products
– Pressing cycle and increased density - Without any heat treatment, MOSO® Bamboo Ndurance can achieve a similar level of durability thanks to :
– A new, more extensive slat crushing process
– Additional densification of the material to +/- 1200 kg/m3 - Outdoor durability guaranteed
- MOSO® Bamboo N-durance can achieve a level of resistance to surface fungi similar to Moso Bamboo X-treme thanks to the use of an antifungal surface treatment.
- Periodic maintenance will be necessary to ensure resistance to surface fungi.
