RABOPALE was bought from the Scandinavian group UPM in October 2013.

It is based in Charente-Maritime in the Aigrefeuille d’Aunis commune between La Rochelle and Rochefort in France. These are the historically the main importing ports for wood from Scandinavia. The RABOPALE mill focuses on planing and finishing long length timber. Equipped with 2 wood pressure treatment plants, RABOPALE is one of only 2 companies in France with the ability to offer a water-repellent treatment.

Since its integration into FPBOIS, the RABOPALE plant has widen its range of species and now offers, in addition to spruce and Red pine, Douglas Fir, Larch and Red Cedar.

RABOPALE mainly produces planed wood, cladding and deckboards to add to the range of FPBOIS product.

It shares the same values as its parent company: technical excellence, respect for nature and innovation.
